About Melissa

Melissa Karimzadeh is a Reiki Master, meditation facilitator and sound healing practitioner dedicated to helping clients restore balance in their nervous system and reconnect with themselves. Certified as a Reiki Practitioner in 2023 and a Reiki Master in 2024, her work blends formal training with lived experience and over 200 hours of hands-on practice, including community-based volunteer work in Maui following the Lahaina and Kula wildfires and extensive practice in Toronto.

Melissa’s sessions are intuitive and grounding, often incorporating breathwork, guided meditation, smudging and sound healing elements. Her approach is shaped by her own journey with Reiki, which supported her through years of anxiety, depression, grief and deep emotional healing, ultimately helping her cultivate greater ease, joy and resilience in life.

A gentle note: From Winter 2025 until May 2026, Melissa will be based in Bali, studying and working alongside several respected healers to deepen her practice and expand her offerings. During this time, in-person sessions will be paused while distance Reiki sessions remain available. Melissa looks forward to returning in Spring 2026 with renewed insight and expanded tools to serve her community.
